St. George

I just got back from St. George a couple hours ago and I'm kinda ready to go back already. I had so much fun! I am really glad I decided to make the long drive to go spend Thanksgiving with family. Ryan and I had alot of fun hanging out together and it was fun to see some of my cousins and aunts and uncles. I also met some of his friends and we had alot of fun hanging out with them. The weather was so beautiful and it was really nice to get out of Idaho for a whole week! I can't wait to go back!
Brittany was in California for Thanksgiving and her friend was driving her back and dropped her off in St. George Saturday night so I picked her up and we hung out then went back to grandma and grandpa's to get some sleep beofre our long drive back to Idaho. On our way back we also stopped in Provo to pick up Peggy, so it was really nice to have some company in the car.
On our way back to Idaho...

Sorry I didn't take any pictures while I was in St. George, I only took my camera out when Brittany and I went to the temple.

Provo

Provo! And the beautiful mountains

On my way to St. George for Thanksgiving break I made a pit stop in Provo for a few days to hang out with Elizabeth. Peggy and I left on Friday after I got done with work and made what seemed like the longest trip ever to Provo. Once we got there I dropped Peggy off at her sisters and I headed over to Elizabeth's to hang out with her and all of her friends. We decided to go to the movies and see Twilight that night, which we loved!!!
We spent Saturday catching up on our sleep. After an adequate amount of time sleeping we spent the day shopping, grabbing lunch, hanging out, and socializing.

We did lots of shopping

And took lots of pictures

Sunday we went to church, took naps, did some more socializing and hanging out and we also went to visit a few old friends.

We made lots of cookies

Since school was still in session Monday and Tuesday for BYU-Provo students, another reason why Idaho is better, Peggy and I spent the whole day hanging out while all our friends were at class. We walked around downtown Provo and grabbed lunch. Then later that night we went and met up with one of my friends from Idaho and he took Peggy and I to a thai restaurant because he served his mission in Thailand and me and Peggy have a new found obsession with thai food.

I had to visit the MTC and take this picture to send to my friend who is there right now.

On Tuesday we packed up and left Provo. I spent most of the night driving to St. George and now I am finally here!

Saying Goodbye!

Masquerade

A couple of weekends ago our friends threw a party with a masquerade theme. We were supposed to dress up and have masks. We decided to try to be creative and make our masks, so the night before the party we went to walmart and bought some stuff to make our masks, which ended up turning out pretty cool. We had alot of fun getting ready and taking pictures before the masquerade and it actually turned out to be really cool and we had alot of fun.

Ignore the mess in the background, we didn't clean up from our arts and crafts after making the masks.

Pumpkin Carving and Carmel Apples

So for family home evening right before Halloween we decided to carve pumpkins and make carmel apples.

Our F.H.E. brothers came over and we had a pumpkin carving contest. I decided to just be the photographer...

Let the pumpkin contest begin

Kristyne and Peggy were partners
Brittany and Jeff worked together
I tried helping Heidi with the pumpkin seeds

The carmel apples!

Me and Brittany enjoyed the carmel apples.

They were very excited about their pumpkin idea.

And even more excited about their final product.
I decided that theirs won.

Lagoon

So a couple of weekends ago Peggy, Kristyne and I decided we wanted to go to Utah to go to the Freightmares at Lagoon. We met some friends who were from that area and they knew other people who were able to get us discount tickets. We went up there Friday and stayed at Peggy's sisters that night. Saturday afternoon we went to the Gateway mall in Salt Lake and after we got all our shopping out of us we headed to Lagoon. We rode a few rollercoasters and went through a haunted house and then our friend told us that his sister worked at the sky coaster, which usually costs an extra 15 bucks to go on, and he said that she would let us on for free. My first thoughts whenever I would look at people going on that was "heck no am I ever going to pay to go on something that scary!" Peggy and Kristyne were all about going on it so I began to consider it. They were soo excited and I was soo nervous, but I decided that if they could do it, then so could I. Let me describe the sky coaster for you... three people get harnessed together, then they hook you onto a rope, then they drop you onto your stomachs super-man style and a crane starts to take you 150 feet into the air. Then the little ant-sized guys at the bottom proceed to count down "three-two-fly" and right on fly Kristyne had to pull the cord which sent us free falling at 60 mph back and forth. It was by far the scariest thing I have ever done, but was soo worth it. We screamed and laughed the whole time and then could not stop talking about it the rest of the weekend. That was definitly worth the whole trip to lagoon. It was soo much fun!

Longboarding!

So me and my roommates have a new found hobby...longboarding! We have some new friends who are really into longboarding and they even have their own company that they are starting where they make their own boards. We have only gone a couple of times so far, but we plan on going pro soon. We are almost there.
