Just a quick little post before I go to bed.



So on Saturday us girls spent the day in Salt Lake City. We did some shopping and then went to the Ingrid Michaelson concert and we LOVED it!!! She put on a great show and she was soo entertaining. Also her new c.d. is to die for! I love all of her music and now I love her even more as an artist after seeing her live! I would go see her again in a heart beat!

Weekend out west

So last thursday I flew out to SLC for the beginning of my trip. My good friend Elizabeth came to pick me up from the airport and then we went to Provo where she is living. We had some fun times together and it was nice to catch up with her. I also got to visit a couple of old friends while I was down there so that was also fun. Sadly Elizabeth and I did not take any pictures.
Then on Friday after Peggy and Brittany got done with classes they traveled down to Salt Lake City to meet up with me. They are such good friends. I was sooo excited to see them!

This was us meeting up for the first time at the gateway. After we meet up we walked around SLC for a little while, met up with our friend Mike, went to dinner, then went to a halloween dance party. We had more fun doing karaoke then we did actually dancing.



Well I would love to sit here and post the rest of the weekend, but blogger is taking 10 years to post pictures and I have to go to work soon. Soo more to come! Stay tuned...

I'm home now

Just spent a lovely week in Idaho with my favorite people ever!




I'll post all about it whenever I am sitting at home bored out of my head wishing I was with my friends...so probably very soon!

As of now, I should probably go unpack and sleep.

Obsessed

Here are some of my current obsessions.

First, I would call this more of an addiction...I loove this show!



Right now I am still catching up to this season. I am finishing up season 5 and it has gotten very intense. I love going and renting them one disk at a time and staying up all night watching all four episodes. I have one more disk to go and I am not sure if I want to finish it already. I don't know if I'm ready to go to watching only one episode every week.


Next, I have been completely obsessed with shoes lately. Whenever I see a good pair that I want, I feel like I NEED them! If I could go on a shoe shopping spree, that would probably make me the happiest person in the world. Whenever I am having a bad day I seriously will go shoe shopping and not even buy any shoes. Just merely looking at them makes me feel happier...oh how I wish I could drop 120 dollars on these...


And lastly, I've really been in love with this song lately. I get very excited when they play them at work, the Beatles make work so much better.

Fashionistas

Tonight my friend Catherine and I went to the world fashion show in Chicago.
As the name hints, it was a show full of designers from around the entire world! It was soo amazing!

(I apologize that the pictures are a little pixilated, I took my mom's camera and I really don't know how to work any of the night time features)

After the show we hung out for a bit on the roof terrace of millennium garden


There was a super sweet pink lounge on the balcony overlooking the city


So we took a pink picture


And took a picture in front of the city.


Then we went on a little adventure around millennium park. We tried taking a bean picture, but that was a little unsuccessful.


So instead we found other cool artsy things.


And admired the bean from afar.

I was watching Dr. Oz the other day while I was at the gym. He did a study on this episode (click here to watch) that has really got me thinking. It is gross and I now think about it every time I go to the bathroom, but I'm glad I saw it.

Moral of the story....close the toilet seat before you flush!
